An Arnold Arboretum Engagement

Anne & Neil are getting married REALLY soon, so we had to get started on the engagement pics!  They've chose the Arnold Arboretum  as the location for their wedding ceremony, and to kill 2 birds with one stone, we headed there for the engagement photos as well!  We walked around, they showed me possibly locations for the ceremony, and we had a lot of fun getting to know each other!  The Arboretum is an important place for both of them, so I think it's really cool that they can have their wedding there!

So cute - they're naturals!

I set up this shot, and then walked away - and I just love this moment between them!

I just love how Anne didn't know I was taking the picture yet!

While walking around we saw TWO snakes!!! YIKES!  I first saw one slither right in front of my feet into some shrubs, and it was much smaller than this one.  This scary fellow was NOT HAPPY to be photographed!  He just sat their and kept lunging at us!  EEEEEK!

So cute and funny!

It was awesome to get to know you both!  Can't wait for your wedding!

Raven & Paul: Married

This was such a fun, relaxed wedding!  Raven & Paul spent some time before the ceremony getting some fantastic shots, and then just the family came for the beautiful ceremony!  Here's a few from the shoot!

I love how real this photo looks, and how happy they both are!

Wingaersheek Beach

This past weekend I photographed a family - Grandparents, families and kids!  The shoot was at Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester, MA, and when I got there at 8 in the morning, there was so much fog I couldn't really see the water, let alone the beautiful landscape of the beach!  There's amazing dunes, rocks and homes in the area.

Fortunately, the fog lifted a bit right before and during the shoot, so we got some good shots.  Here's a few samples!

Look what I was swimming with!

Yeah RIGHT!!!  If you ever catch me swimming in anything other than a pool...somethin's happened to me :)

So, I wasn't actually SWIMMING with these guys, but we did go to the aquarium in Long Beach, and I took these pics while walking around with the other BILLION people at the aquarium that day.

I think the jellyfish are my favorite, just because they're so incredibly weird...and I love how gracefully they move.  Bright colored fishies are also pretty fantastic though!
