Oh, Albums...

There is no comparison between receiving a beautiful, custom designed album telling the story of your day, and receiving a disc of images in the mail. Yes, a disc will give you the option to design your own album in the future, and many people actually do do that! But...after your wedding, life is "normal" again, and usually, busier than ever. I can't tell you how many times I've heard people say they meant to design an album for themselves but just never got around to it.

Albums, such as flushmount or this matted one below are so much more fun to show your friends and family - not just right when you get it, but later on, when you show children, and grand children :) I know I show my wedding album to everyone that comes to my house! They get sick of it after seeing it the 3rd, or 4th time but.... Ok I'm kidding, I don't show it more than once, unless people ask.

Long story short, albums are great! I loved this one below so much I had a hard time parting with it when giving it to the couple!!

A visit from corn-land!

My cousin Matt and his girlfriend Lindsey are visiting from Nebraska for Thanksgiving! Matt has been out to the east coast plenty of times visiting, but it was Lindsey's first visit to Boston. We went to the Public Gardens, the original Cheers bar and Paul Revere's house! I know, kind of a random choice of things to do, but we didn't start with a plan, and the weather made it limiting.

I had tons of fun playing around with my old camera and using slide film - I'm going to make polaroid transfers with them :) :) But I also took some with my regular camera too.

I've been to the Public Gardens millions of times, and I've always seen people feeding the squirrels. What I didn't know is that when there's not tons of people there, as there weren't today, they come right up to you and beg for food!

Jeremy decided to try to sneak up on this little guy. The little guy then called for backup and there were about 4 squirrels there all of the sudden! FYI, we didn't feed them. ;)
